Anonymous individuals have shared information regarding the formation of a “Secret Committee of Correspondence”, a legislation that is rumored to communicate with British agents and “friends in other parts of the world”. The Continental Congress is speculated to have granted the committee extensive authority to conduct international diplomacy, including the negotiation of clandestine shipment of arms and similar activities.
On the committee are (speculation) Benjamin Franklin, Benjamin Harrison, Thomas Johnson, John Dickinson, and John Jay, all men that have been caught in violent activities lead by the Sons of Liberty, a colonial rebel group, and are avid supporters in a bloody separation between Great Britain and the Americas.
