A real tragedy occurred in Boston. Five colonist died in Boston. We heard many different points of view on this matter from colonist and soldiers. Most people said it went down like this, the redcoats were at on King street protecting the King's money here at the house where the money settled when the colonist started to scream insults at the soldiers. The soldiers started to feel threatened so they called for backup. At this moment, Captain Preston and his men came into the situation. They came running into position at the head of the crowd. The crowd started to circle and surrounded Captain Preston and his men. The colonist started screaming insults and tempting the redcoats to shoot. The even threw clubs at the soldiers and even hit a poor soldier in the face. He then felt threatened and fired off a warning shot up towards the sky. Then the other soldiers thought that the colonist had fired this shot and out of natural instinct fired off their weapons as they felt their lives were in danger. A couple of moments later a few people were died and a couple died later of their injuries. Many accounts say that the soldiers were in the right to fire. I just got report that a two patriots named John Adams and John Quincey are defending Captain Preston and his men in the case to follow this tragic incident.
